The EC3 Research group from the University of Granada is specialized in bibliometrics and research evaluation. Its main research lines are the evaluation of scientific journals and the development of research evaluation and scientific information systems. It offers research assessment services developing tools, bibliometric reports and software in order to ease decision-making in regard to research policy making throuth EC3Metrics Spin-off University of Granada.

Daniel Torres-Salinas

PhD in Scientific Information from the University of Granada. He works at the University of Navarre. His research interests are research evaluation and bibliometrics, having published in the main international and Spanish journals of the field. He is member of the EC3 Research Group and is co-founder and CEO of EC3Metrics SL.

Nicolas Robinson-Garcia

PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Granada. He works at EC3Metrics SL as a research consultant and is member of the EC3 Research Group. His research interests are research evaluation in the Social Sciences and Humanities, institutional evaluation and bibliometrics.

Enrique Fuente-Gutierrez

PhD candidate at the University of Granada. He is founder and manager of EC3Metrics SL and member of the EC3 Research Group. His research interests are research evaluation and its economic costs at the institutional level and bibliometrics.

Evaristo Jimenez-Contreras

Professor in Bibliometrics at the Faculty of Information and Communication Studies at the University of Granada. He is Research Leader of the EC3 Research Group and President and co-founder of EC3Metrics SL. His research interests are institutional and regional research evaluation.
